Easy Snacks on the Go

When you're on the go it can be difficult to eat. So here are a few ideas for some easy, healthy, and quick snacks for someone on the go.
  1. Spinach and Hummus Burrito: This burrito contains a lot of iron and a good amount of protein, and it’s super easy to make. All you need is spinach, a tortilla, and hummus. First, spread the hummus on the tortilla, and then put the spinach on. It’s as easy as that! You can always add more things like bell peppers, and tofu.
  2. Avocado and Toast: It is just what it sounds like. All you have to do is take a bit of avocado and spread it on your toast.
  3. Ants on a Log: Many people say that this snack is meant for children, but it’s good at all ages! Ants on a log consists of celery, peanut butter and raisins or almonds. All you do is cut the celery into halves and spread the peanut butter on the part of the celery that dips inward.  Then you add the raisins or almonds.
  4. Hummus Dippers: This is one of the most popular snacks, it consists of carrots, celery, and hummus. If you are in a rush and you don’t have time to put them into little containers then just use a mason jar. Take the hummus and put it into the bottom of the jar. Then take your carrots (baby carrots are the best to use) and celery and stick them in the hummus at bottom of the jar.
  5. Greek Yogurt and Granola: It is just as it sounds: Greek yogurt and granola. All you do is put Greek yogurt (any yogurt works really) and put it into a container. Then take the granola and sprinkle it on top of the yogurt, and mix!
  6. Strawberries and Chocolate: If you want a sweet treat on the go then just grab this snack. Strawberries and chocolate are probably easier to have pre-made, but if not then just microwaves some chocolate chips and grab some strawberries!
  7. Trail Mix: You can grab trail mix if you're on the move for an easy and healthy snack.
  8. Fruit Smoothies: Take some frozen fruit, any kind of milk, yogurt, and anything else your heart desires and blend them in a blender!
  9. Literally Any Kind of Fruit: Fruit is so delicious and so good for you, any kind can serve as a quick and healthy snack.
