Ever feel like you need a good snack, but can't find anything to eat? Or ever need a quick appetizer for a party, or a fancy dinner? These 5 easy snacks work for almost any occasion!

  1. Fruit with a honey yogurt dip. This dip recipe works for special occasions, too, if you put the fruit on a skewer, or you can just use a toothpick to dip the fruit in the dip! For the dip, stir together 2 cups vanilla yogurt, 1/4 cup of honey, and 1/2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon. (The recipe for the dip works for about 13 people). Use any fruit you like.
  2. Banana ants on a log. This is an easy snack that is semi-healthy :). Peel a banana and cut in half, then cut those pieces in half lengthwise. Take each piece of banana and spread peanut butter on it, then sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top. (Or, if you like, make ants on a rock, and just cut the banana into circles!)
  3. Quick s’mores. Ever wished it was summer, and you could go camping and eat s’mores again? Well, this quick snack fixes that (partway, at least). Simply take a graham cracker, spread marshmallow fluff on top, then sprinkle some chocolate chips over the fluff, and put another graham cracker on top. Viola! Instant s’mores!
  4. Apples with peanut butter. The old reliable. It's pretty self-explanatory. Take an apple, and put peanut butter on it. If you like currants, those taste good on there too.
  5. Of course, if we're having apples with peanut butter, why not crackers with peanut butter? Saltines work best, but almost any type of cracker will do. Just spread the peanut butter on top, and you're good to go!*
Those are some simple snacks that you can make by yourself if you're hungry. Have fun snacking!

*Do not eat snacks 2,4,and 5 if you have a peanut allergy.
