There are many struggles of being a teenager today. In fact most teenagers are faced with some sort of problem, whether it is struggling with sexuality, body image, rough home life, slipping grades, or even an extracurricular activity. No matter what you might be going through right now just know that you are not alone. There is always a way out, even if you don’t think there is.  


When trying to keep a positive mind and attitude, there are many things to do to help with the stress and anxiety.  Good mental health is the key to happiness, and should always be taken seriously.

Trying new things is a great way to stay motivated and happy. Go out and go somewhere you’ve never been. Try new activities at school. Read a new book. You could even try cooking a new recipe.

If you like art, then that’s a great way to deal with stress and anxiety. Painting and sketching are just a few of the many things you can try. You can even try journaling or poetry.

And remember, if your mental health gets severe or too much to handle, you should go and seek help from a trusted adult and/or mental health professional. Your life matters, and there’s always someone out there who cares for you very deeply. There are many ways to get the help that you need, so don’t hesitate to ask for it.
