Welcome to the 2025 edition of the Lime Green Giraffe!

This year's edition is jam packed with a plethora of fun and fresh stories that we can’t wait to share with all of you!

Learn about the dangers of light pollution, discover the Science of Happiness and explore the world of people of color in dance. Have fun baking cookies and unpacking TikTok trends. Two of our staff members, who are in the Class of 2026, share their personal essays and Girl Scout stories. Our writers are super great poets and short story writers, so don't miss their latest creative work.

And one more thing! This year, we launched a rolling issue “On the Spot.” 

This means that in addition to our regular publishing dates (like this one), creative new content from our writing staff will be constantly added throughout the year. Life is spontaneous, and these moments need to be written about too; this new segment is a live story that will keep building up… so make sure to keep coming back to read :).
