If you are a Harry Potter fan, listen up. The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts World Centre, in London has a program, Challenges Around London. One of the challenges is the Harry Potter Challenge, which takes you all over London to find the spots where the Harry Potter movies were filmedIf you visit all of the places, you can earn a Harry Potter badge from Pax Lodge.

I visited Millennium Bridge, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, King Cross Station, Tower Bridge, Piccadilly Circus, Westminster Tube Station, Charing Cross, Australia House, and Scotland Yard. I can tell you that, some of the most important scenes happened in these places. (I even got to see where Daniel Radcliff went to school!) It is true that you can visit these places if you are just visiting London but you won’t get to earn a badge.
It was a thrilling experience to see the places where the scenes of one of my favorite film series took placeWhen I went, we had two of my mom’s friends join us for the challenge.
At the end of the challenge, I returned to Pax Lodge to receive my Harry Potter badge. The Harry Potter badge goes on the front of your vest or sash because you have earned it.

Completing this badge will only take about a day. You will have to travel around London to see everything, not every site is next to each other. I definitely would recommend to complete this badge if you are visiting London. It was so much fun to do and was so exciting! Good luck and have fun.

  1. I am taking my daughters to London in June. We won’t see Pax Lodge until the end of our trip. I emailed WAGGS and they sent me a list of places to go for the HP challenge. How do I prove we were there? Pictures?
