Slime is a good way to relieve stress and just fun to play with.

Step One: Get out your ingredients. For this recipe you will need to get out glue (Elmer’s school glue works the best for this), contact solution (don’t use your parents’ unless you have permission!), baking soda, and foaming shaving cream (FOAMY!!!!!). All of this can be found at Wal-Mart or Target.

Step Two: Now get out measuring cups, an airtight container, and a stirring utensil (I use an old plastic knife). Be sure your parents are okay with you using all of your supplies! (I don’t want to be held responsible!)

Step Three: You will need to use the measuring cups and glue for this step. Pour 1 CUP of glue in the container.

Step Four: Next add in 2/3 of a cup of shaving cream to the glue. Mix.

*Optional Step*

You can add in food coloring at this step. I advise 2-4 drops depending on the color.

Step Five: Baking soda time! Add in about ½ a teaspoon of baking soda (2-3 pinches). Mix.

Step Six: Now add 2 tablespoons of contact solution.

Step Seven: Mix thoroughly. There might be glue at the bottom when most of it is mixed. To fix this just keep mixing until everything is combined.

Step Eight: Take the slime out and knead it for about 5 minutes so it’s not as sticky.

Now you’re done! Put the lid on and store it in a cool place. If you leave it overnight and then take it out, you will have huge air bubbles to pop!
